Vitamin C Linked to Reduced Stroke Risk

A new study is suggesting that getting enough Vitamin C could reduce your chance of having a stroke. 

Research presented at the American Academy of Neurology shows that the risk of hemorrhagic stroke is lower among people who have the proper levels of Vitamin C, as compared with people who are Vitamin C deficient. 

The results of the study show that a Vitamin C deficiency, as well as high blood pressure, being overweight and drinking alcohol, should be considered risk factors for this deadly type of stroke. 

More research is needed to see why Vitamin C lowers the chance of stroke, but some researchers think the vitamin may help regulate blood pressure.
