Prostate Cancer May be Sexually Transmitted Disease

This may shock you: Prostate cancer might be a sexually transmitted disease.

A new University of California study found evidence that a commonly-transmitted parasite could cause chronic prostate inflammation if it's not treated.

That parasite is believed to infect about 175 million people and three-quarters of the men infected show no symptoms at all.

Researchers say the parasite also creates a protein similar to a human protein involved in forming cancer.
