Brother Will Not Be Tried as an Adult in Homicide of Sister

The 12-year-old Calaveras County boy accused of killing his sister will not be tried as an adult. California law requires a suspect be 14-years or older. Isaiah Fowler is accused of stabbing eight-year-old Leila to death inside their Valley Springs home last month. He told police an intruder killed her, which set off a manhunt in the small community.
