SACRAMENTO -- There was a major drug bust in Sacramento early today when California Highway Patrol officers stopped a car with 57 pounds of marijuana inside.

It happened around 4:30 this morning when officers noticed a 2013 Dodge Charger traveling southbound on I-5 and US-50 around 80 mph near Sutterville Road.

When officers approached the car, they said they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside. A search of the car found six larges bags of processed marijuana weighing 57 pounds.

About $2,000 dollars in cash was also found.

Officers arrested 37-year-old Milo Conlin from Chico. He was booked into the Sacramento County Jail on felony charges of possession of concentrated cannabis and cannabis for sale.
