A new study says Wednesday's rulings on gay marriage could turnout to be a cashcow for California's coffers. The Williams Institute at UCLA's law school says the state's budget could see a gain of $40 million in wedding-related tax revenue over the next three years. With 37,000 expected weddings over the next three years, the Golden State could generate almost a half a billion dollars in revenue for the state's wedding industry.
Travel website Orbitz.com has already expanded its advertising to the gay community and launched a photo contest that awards flights to travel destinations that allow same-sex marriage.
