"Rolling Stone" magazine is defending its choice to put Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarvnaev on the cover of its upcoming issue. However, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick has mixed feelings about the issue.

Patrick said that the substance of the article was apparently good reporting but that the cover was "out of taste."

Boston Mayor Tom Menino also says "Rolling Stone" magazine is rewarding a terrorist with celebrity treatment. The editors for the magazine say the cover story, quote, "falls within the traditions of journalism."

They add that Tsarnaev is in the same age group as many of the magazine's readers, and that makes it more important to examine the complexities of the Boston bombing.
