ROCKLIN, Calif. -- The Placer County District Attorney's Office has announced that no charges will be filed against 20-year-old Zachary Kachmar in the stabbing death of 51-year-old Robert Vickney Jr.

The descion was made after the investigation revealed that at a party in Rocklin on July 13th that Vickney was the aggressor and had attacked Kachmar who then stabbed him fearing for his life.

The District Attorney's Office says the conflict was fueled by alcohol and truly an unnecessary and avoidable tragedy.
