A recently discovered security bug could allow criminals access to any personal data on Android phones.

Bluebox Security says they discovered the flaw that affects 99 percent of all Android devices out there.

The backdoor flaw could allow hackers to create an update for the phone. After the install, hackers could have access to all personal information stored on the phone.

Only the brand new Galaxy S4 is immune to the backdoor hack.

How can you protect yourself in the meantime? Make sure your updates come from the Play Store -- or your system update utility.
