DAVIS, Calif -- Strange goings-on in a Davis Community Park has landed two people in jail. The Davis Police Department responded to Northside Community Park around 9 a.m., said Lieutenant Tom Waltz.

A worker in the Covell bike overcrossing area of the park saw a female exposing herself to two passing juveniles, a press release from the Davis Police Department stated.

During an investigation, police discovered that Wenyi Xu, a 30-year-old Folsom resident, allegedly disrobed and exposed herself to the juveniles as they rode past her on bicyles. Nicolas Bowen, a 61-year-old Grizzly Flats resident, allegedly took photos or video of the episode.

When Xu exposed herself, one juvenile fell off his bicycle, but he did not sustain any injuries, the release stated.

Police quickly arrested Xu and Bowen and they are currently at Monroe Detention Facility in Woodland. The Davis Police Department believes there may be additional victims in the Davis area and potentially in Sacramento County or El Dorado County. Anyone with information on Xu or Bowen is urged to contact the Davis Police Department at (530) 747-5400 and report any incidents involving either of these suspects.

Xu was booked on indecent exposure, annoying a child, engaging in lewd acts in public, and conspiracy. Bowen was booked on assisting in indecent exposure, annoying a child, lewd acts in public, and conspiracy.
