You won't find many 49er fans at the NFC Championship game in Seattle next weekend and that might be because of sales limitations put in place by their opponent.

Tickets for the game between the Seahawks and the 49ers went on sale this morning, however, there's a limit as to which areas were able to buy them.  Most of the Pacific Northwest was covered, but as you can guess California was not included.

Daniel Kaplan is a writer with the Sports Business Journal.  He says that this is not the first time this has happened, but that you usually do not see it in a playoff game like this.

"The stadium of the home team might be partially if not majority filled by rival fans," Kaplan said.

He continued to say that this is clearly not the case with this game,

"It almost seems a little petty to do this," Kaplan opined.

Tickets were available to Californians through third party dealers, they just cost a little more.
