We've heard this before, but there's now another lawsuit against the Kings arena plan.

There's a group attempting to get the team to pay for affordable housing and provide assistance for small businesses.

The suit, from the Sacramento Coalition for Shared Prosperity, is environmental in nature, saying construction will disproportionately impact low-income residents.

The ultimate goal is an agreement from the Kings to fund $40 million worth of affordable housing at the downtown plaza site.

The group, which includes the Sacramento Housing Alliance, says suing was a last resort but talks were going nowhere.

The team and the city do have an advisory council on community benefits.
