Searchers are getting closer to locating the source of pings believed to be from the black box of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.

Yesterday, Australia's prime minister told reporters he was confident the signals are coming from the lost plane.

Meanwhile, authorities are dismissing a report that the co-pilot of the missing Malaysia Airlines plane made a phone call after the plane changed course.

A Malaysian newspaper reported a cell tower picked up a signal from the phone off the country's west coast.
