Authorities have located the wreckage of small plane that crashed in San Pablo Bay following a suspected mid-air collision with another aircraft Sunday afternoon.

That word from the Contra Costa Sheriff's Department about the Cessna that went down about a mile north of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.

Investigators still say there's no sign of the plane's lone pilot. The other plane landed safely later at an airport in Amador County.

The crash happened while both planes were returning from a photo shoot in Half Moon Bay.
