"The View" dedicated Barbara Walters' last show to her life and career as she retires from 50-years in television. The 84-year-old broadcasting pioneer gave a farewell speech that spoke to the other women in her field.

"How proud when I see all the young women who are making and reporting the news.  If I did anything to help that happen, that's my legacy," she said.

Guests on the show today included Hillary Clinton and Oprah. A collection of women from Connie Chung to Katie Couric, all who have anchored news programs, came onto the stage to give Walters' a farewell hug.
