A big-rig is on fire along I-80 and is causing some traffic delays, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A big-rig drove off the road and onto the right-hand shoulder of eastbound I-80 and tipped over near the Travis Boulevard on-ramp in Fairfield.
The truck then ignited in flames. Thick, black smoke is rising from the rig.
All lanes were closed, but three of the five have since re-opened. The four and five lanes remain closed. Traffic in the area in both directions is still being impacted. Officials are asking drivers to take alternate routes if possible.
The condition of the big-rig driver is unknown.
