A body has been found within the 11,000-acre perimeter of the Bully Fire burning in Shasta County, according to authorities.
Cal Fire officials said the body was found near a home north of Platina Road. Officials believe the person died on Friday while trying to escape the fire.
So far, the fire has resulted in 13 injuries.
The Shasta County Sheriff's Department is working with Cal Fire to investigate the death.
Alexander Smoke, 37, of Sacramento, has been arrested in connection with the fire.
