Boy Missing from Antelope School Considered 'Endangered'

Posted Wednesday, April 30th 2014 @ 6am  by KFBK News - Tom Cutler

A mother and her son are missing after she pulled him out of school.

Maximos Truedale Tallman, 11, is a student at Dudley Elementary School.

On Tuesday his biological mother, 34-year-old Africa White took him from the school in Antelope and disappeared.

Police consider the boy at danger because his mother does not have custody of him.

Police believe she may be in hiding with the boy's grandmother, Vanetta Haines.

Maximos was described as black, 5-feet-5-inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, tan pants and white shoes.

White was described as black, 5-feet-4-inches, weighing 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She may be driving a 2000 burgundy Jeep Cherokee with California license plate 6XIV046.

Haines is known to have rented a 2013 gray Chevy 4-door with California license plate 6ZWB449.

If you have information on the suspects' or Maximos' whereabouts, you are urged to call the Twin Rivers police at (916) 566-2777.
