Kentucky Derby winner California Chrome has arrived in Baltimore ahead of the 139th running of the Preakness Stakes.

Accompanied by other Preakness hopefuls, the colt was flown from Lexington, Kentucky to BWI-Marshall Airport today.

From there, California Chrome - who is from Yuba City - and company got a Baltimore City Police escort to Pimlico, where the Derby winner will occupy the traditional Stall 40 prior to Saturday's race.
