California trees are suffering due to the drought. Some of the older ones may be in trouble and could come down.

Matt Morgan is an arborist with the Davey Tree Expert Company in Sacramento.

"With the little bit of rain that we got coming the next couple days, we may see some more trees coming down, like we did the last storm," Morgan said.

You may remember the rain we had a couple weeks ago caused several big trees around the Sacramento area to come down, especially the old oaks.

Morgan says if you're worried, call an expert.

"But you know it doesn't hurt to get somebody out there and kind of assess the situation of what's going on with your trees, you know seeing if the trees are even healthy," he said.

Morgan says the Redwoods hold up the best, and the oaks maybe the most susceptible to the dry ground.
