Californians Agree About Wealth Divide, Disagree About What to Do About It
Posted Wednesday, July 2nd 2014 @ 7am  by KFBK News - Tim Lantz

Here in California, most of us agree the divide between the rich and poor is getting bigger. A look at new poll this morning suggests that's where agreement stops.

This Field Poll not only finds a majority of Democrats are not happy about what is seen as a disparity in wealth distribution, but also show most Republicans are not that worried.

But there's a big difference in how California-born voters in the survey view the situation compared to those who are foreign-born.

Californian natives are concerned about the financial divide but don't want the government to get too involved in redistributing wealth.

Foreign-born immigrants aren't as worried about the haves and have-nots, but do think the government should do something.

See the complete poll, here.
