California's flu season is winding down, with more than 342 confirmed deaths in people under 65 years of age.

The latest report from the state shows the number of fatalities dropping last week.

Doctor visits and hospitalizations have also decreased. Health officials say most of the cases that required treatment this year were of the H1N1 strain.

Across the season, 28 deaths have been reported in Sacramento County. El Dorado County lists two and Yolo County, one.
