The contractor in charge of the Fix 50 highway project says they'll finish the last phase of construction six days ahead of schedule, but CalTrans isn't so sure.
Spokesman Dennis Keaton says crews met this morning.
"After reviewing the work, we're hopeful, but we can't actually guarantee that they're gonna actually hit that date yet," Keaton said.
Myers and Sons told KCRA that crews would have the work completed by June 19, but Caltrans' date is still June 25.
Upon completion, there's a $150,000 bonus for each day that Myers is ahead of schedule.
