A Placerville woman is under arrest for using the bank card of a 69-year-old man living in Auburn's Westview Healthcare.

Amanda Marie Sinnott, 29, was an employee at the center when she took the elderly victim's card and used it at two Auburn stores to deduct $1,300 from his bank account.

Placer County Sheriff's deputies were able to identify Sinnott because she was caught on camera.

Sinnott was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on charges of burglary, committing a financial crime against the elderly, fraudulent use of a bank access card and possession of stolen property.

She remains in custody and her bail is set at $50,000.
