The manhunt is over, and now it looks like an arrest in Sacramento County actually led authorities to Ryan Chamberlain's San Francisco apartment, where explosive materials were found.
A San Francisco TV station is reporting an earlier arrest in Sacramento County played a role in having the FBI search Chamberlain's apartment over the weekend. There authorities found explosive materials which led to the entire block being closed off for over 15 hours.
Chamberlain was finally found when he was spotted at a bar in the Lower Haight neighborhood, apparently after using an ATM.
Authorities caught up to him in a parking lot yesterday near the Golden Gate Bridge. Uber driver Morgan Manos witnessed the arrest.
"They got him onto the ground, they were trying to get him cuffed, they were yelling at him to get one of his arms behind his back," Manos described.
A robot was used to search Chamberlain's vehicle but no explosive materials were found.
The FBI is holding a news conference later Tuesday so we may find out how the earlier arrest was linked to Chamberlain.
UPDATE 12:47pm: Ryan Chamberlain, wanted by the FBI for allegedly possessing explosive materials at his home in San Francisco, appears to have posted a suicide note that went out to his social media account Monday morning.

The search for a San Francisco social media consultant whose apartment held explosives has gone viral.
The manhunt for 42-year-old Ryan Kelly Chamberlain started in a San Francisco neighborhood, but has now gone nationwide with FBI telling the public to consider him armed and dangerous.
More than two dozen federal agents, hazardous material crew members, police and firefighters raided his 1831 Polk Street apartment over the weekend.
After searching the apartment, FBI found what they believed to be evidence that Chamberlain was trying to build explosives. As CBS' Bob Orr says, that discovery just led to more questions.
"It's more a series of unanswered questions because a guy was attempting maybe to build explosive devices," Orr said.
Last seen in San Francisco, authorities say Chamberlain, who is described as 6' 3" and 225 pounds, is acting alone and driving a 2008 Nissan Altima with either Texas plates 7FQY085 or California license plates BX9M04.
The FBI asks that anyone who spots Chamberlain to not approach him and call the agency or dial 911.
