The California Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in identifying a second vehicle possibly involved in a fatal Labor Day hit-and-run accident.
Brianna Norman, 18, was struck and killed by a Nissan Pathfinder as she dashed across Madison Avenue east of Auburn Boulevard around 4:20 p.m. Monday.
The driver of the Pathfinder was unable to stop her vehicle.
The CHP says another vehicle, a red Nissan Frontier pickup going westbound on Madison, may have also hit the young woman and fled the scene.
The CHP is asking if you know anything to please contact them by calling CRIME ALERT at 443-HELP, 1(800)-AA-CRIME, or send a text message tip to 274637 (Crimes) then enter SACTIP followed by the tip information.
Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
