If you tend to drive too fast or you're a little too agressive behind the wheel, you could end up spending more time with the California Highway Patrol than you'd like.
With money from a federal traffic safety grant, the CHP is going after speeders and agressive drivers with a goal of reducing accidents.
CHP statistics show speeding is the No. 1 contributor to collisions, but they're also looking for drivers who make improper turns, which resulted in more than 22,000 collisions in 2011.
They're watching aggressive behavior, including cutting off drivers and following cars too closely.
This is an educational campaign for the CHP, but they say officers will also be handing out tickets in some cases.
They're not saying exactly when or where officers will be taking part in the campaign -- but you've been warned.
