Coca-Cola is announcing plans to layoff workers at its Sacramento plant.

According to reports, the company will cut 58 distribution and warehousing jobs at its Natomas office in the coming weeks.

The parent company based in Atlanta, Georgia bought the Sacramento operations about a year ago, trimmed 60 jobs and closed its bottling plant on Stockton Boulevard.

The soft drink maker still has about 400 workers in Natomas, along with a second distribution site in Modesto.
