As pro Russian forces continue to take control of Ukrainian assets in Crimea, there appears to be little international community can do to stop it. The story from CBS news correspondent Cami McCormick:
Defense Secretary Hagel made it clear to his Russian counterpart that his military is directly responsible for any casualties - whether caused by uniformed troops or irregulars without insignias.
Spokesman Rear Admiral John Kirby also says reports of continued attacks highlight the dangerous situation created by Moscow.
There's also confusion in the Ukrainian ranks - its troops say they are not receiving any clear orders from Kiev.
