Calling him "well spoken, perhaps beyond his years" a Yolo Superior Court Judge ruling Friday that a confession by a Davis teen accused of killing Davis attorney Oliver Northup and church official Claudia Maupin may be used in court.

Attorneys for 16-year-old Daniel Marsh arguing that the boy was coerced by experienced law men, but the judge, viewing the tape privately, says Marsh appeared poised in the police interview, and "did not appear intimidated" by investigators. The trial is set to begin April 14th, the one year anniversary of the stabbing deaths.
