Four men were arrested after a Facebook posting revealed the location of a chop shop in Loomis.

A report was filed by the Placer Land Trust with the Auburn police listing theft of two vehicles and a lawn mower.

Images of the stolen items posted on Facebook were recognized by a citizen who alerted the Placer County Sheriff's Department of the possible whereabouts of the chop shop.

Regional Auto Theft Task Force officers arrived at 7500 Block of O'Haver in Loomis and found land trust property, five stolen vehicles and various stolen auto parts.  

Richard Burns, who occupied the residence, was charged with four counts of stolen property, grand theft and suspicion of operating a chop shop.

Four other men were also charged.
