Sacramento sheriff's deputies are looking for the shooter who's responsible for the death of a 28-year-old man.
Sacramento Sheriff's spokeswoman Lisa Bowman says deputies responded to a call of shots fired about 11:15 Sunday morning in the 5500 block of Auburn Boulevard.
She says the deputies were told the victim had been taken to a local hospital after being shot. They say that's where he died.
Witnesses at the scene described the suspect as a white male driving a late 1990s compact Dodge four-door vehicle.
The victim's identity will be revealed by the coroner's office pending notification of next of kin.
