Congressional leaders are questioning the design of driver's licenses for more than a million undocumented immigrants in California.
The Department of Homeland Security wants the licenses to display the words "Driving Privileges Only" on the front of the card but the state wants those words moved to the back of the card.
A group of California congressional delegates, led by Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, has sent a letter to Homeland Security asking why the words need to be in front.
They feel the moniker would single out undocumented immigrants.
Congressman Dana Rohrabacher disagrees.
He says California's plan to hide the information about a person's status on the back of the license is a bad idea and could have terrible consequences.
