Pop star Miley Cyrus is pretty upset about a drone that took pictures of her in the backyard of her Southern California home, and she's not alone.

The Los Angeles Times reports a bill in the California state Assembly would ban the use of aerial drones to videotape, photograph or record celebrities and other people in ways that violate their privacy rights.

The bill builds on an existing privacy law that bars certain uses of cameras with telephoto lenses and audio-recorders with long-range microphones.
