Feds: California Driver's Licenses Don't Meet National Security Standards

Federal authorities say the proposed design for a California driver's license for undocumented immigrants doesn't meet national security standards.

In a copy of a letter obtained by The Associated Press, Homeland Security officials told California's Department of Motor Vehicles that the license must say it can't be used for federal purposes and should contain a unique design or color.
