Reverend Al Sharpton led a rally at a Ferguson, Missouri church on Sunday with the family of slain black teenager Michael Brown.
Ferguson has been the scene of violent clashes with police and protesters, and marred by looting and vandalism.
One man credited with easing tensions is Captain Ron Johnson. He spoke today at the Greater Grace Church in Ferguson:
"I want to start off by talking to Mike Brown's family and I want you to know my heart goes out to you and I say that I'm sorry, I wear this uniform and I should standup here and say that I'm sorry," said Johnson.
