Arizona Moves to Elite Eight Over San Diego State

The No. 1 seeded Arizona Wildcats dashed the hopes of San Diego on Thursday night. Arizona defeated San Diego State in a 70-64 victory.

The last time these two teams faced off was in November, when Arizona defeated San Diego State by nine points.

The No. 1 seeded Wildcats played in their third Sweet 16 in four years, and have advanced on to the Elite Eight.

San Diego State has never advanced beyond the Sweet 16. In fact, San Diego State never won a Tournament game in its first 40 seasons of Division 1 play.

The Wildcats will move on to play No. 2 seeded Wisconsin in the Elite Eight this weekend.
