Sheriff's Department Seeks Info in Foothill Farms Shooting
Posted March 12th, 2014 @ 4:59am by KFBK News - Tim Lantz

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is looking for the person or people who shot a teenager in the Foothill Farms area last night.

The shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 5000 block of Andrea Boulevard.

Right now, investigators believe a dark colored vehicle with at least two people inside was driven past a group standing on the sidewalk, and several shots were fired from the car into that group of people.

One of them, the teenager, was hit by the gunfire and later had to be taken to a local hospital. The victim was last listed in critical condition.

Detectives say they have not identified the suspects and don't know why the shooting happened, but if you have information about the shooting they'd like you to contact the Sacramento County Sheriff’S Department.

You can do that anonymously at, by texting 274637 (crimes) and entering the keyword "SSD" or by calling 916-874-8477.
