ROCKLIN, Calif. -- A former teacher at Whitney High School in Rocklin will not go to trial on charges related to an inappropriate sexual relationship he had with one of his students.
Matthew Yamamoto pleaded no contest to four felony counts including oral copulation with a minor, attempted sexual intercourse with a minor, and sexual penetration on a minor. He faces a maximum five years in prison.
His sentencing is scheduled for September 17.
