More trouble for Foster Farms, as the Centers for Disease Control announced 51 new cases of Salmonella tied to the state's largest poultry producer.

44 of the new cases are in California. The outbreak was thought to have been over back in January, when the number of new cases continued to fall. A total of 481 people have been infected with Salmonella since March of 2013 according to the CDC.

It is not uncommon for raw poultry to contain Salmonella and the CDC recommends consumers follow these food safety tips.
