Four men were busted for soliciting an under-aged girl online.  Thing is, that little girl was an undercover Citrus Heights detective.

The department started this sting to catch online sexual predators. And it didn't take long for people to take the bait.

"About 2 and a half weeks.  Our detectives have been connecting an investigation into child enticement using the internet," said Citrus Heights Police Lt. Ryan Kinnan.

Kinnan went on to say that four men, each from the Sacramento, Roseville, Rancho Cordova, and Woodland areas began sending messages to detectives posing as the under-aged girl. One of which sent naked pictures of himself.

Police then arranged to meet the men at a specified location. Cameron Lovell, Gerald Lowrance, Kevin Wood, and Roger Wallace were arrested and charged with enticing a minor.

Lt. Kinnan is reminding parents to talk to their children about their online activity.

"As policemen foreman and as a parent myself, we want to urge parents to talk with their children about how to stay safe online, and to agree with their children on how to behave and what type of sites to visit," he said.

This should have some people think twice about who they're talking to online.
