There's a suspect in custody for the Friday shooting in the 12th and D street area.

Police say an argument broke out between two groups and that's when 20-year-old Demetrius Martin pulled out a gun and fired.  His bullet hit a bystander standing in front of a grocery store.  An eye witness tells News 10 he was standing in front of a tattoo shop when the shots rang out.

"I ran inside of the tattoo shop and ducked down for cover because they started shooting, two times.  I heard two shots," he said.

Martin was arrested in the 1200 block of Delta Street and is booked into the Sacramento County main jail for assault with a deadly weapon.
