Political junkies have been anxiously waiting to hear whether Gov. Jerry Brown will seek re-election.

Yesterday he announced whether or not he will run for ... president. Again.

While in Riverside, Brown said he will not run for president in 2016.

He has run three times before. Brown quipped to reporters: "Actually, California is a lot more governable."

Brown ran for president in 1976, 1980 and 1992.

He was in Riverside to discuss prisons, education and water policy with local officials.

Brown is up for re-election this year, and has raised millions for a bid. But he has not yet announced his intentions.
