Governor Jerry Brown is saying "yes" to a debate against GOP candidate Neel Kashkari.
Brown has led Kashkari by a wide margin in both fundraising and public opinion polls.
Undaunted, Kashkari has pressed Brown to debate him 10 times, echoing a similar call Brown made four years ago in his race against Meg Whitman.
The one hour debate is set for Sept. 4.
According to Dan Newman, a spokesperson for the governor, it is the only debate he will accept.
