A Granite Bay woman on the verge of death is now slowly making a recovery.
This is was Lesley Bunning's daughter just a month ago.
"I didn't even realize it was going to progress that fast, and we didn't get a chance to talk to her again," she said.
The family was facing the prospect of taking their mother off life support.
H1N1 Swine Flu was shutting down her organs and she was in a coma. Then, a miracle, she started breathing on her own.
Now, with her recovery slow but steady, Lesley Bunning, gave News10 an update on how she's feeling.
"Better than dead," she said.
Bunning did not get a flu shot before coming down with H1N1, now she's adamant about getting a flu shot, saying she's going to be the first in line.
