The very contentious debate over the "strong mayor" initiative is not over yet. At last the Tuesday night City Council meeting a group called Sacramento Tomorrow revived the idea of increasing Mayor Kevin Johnson's power. Erica Bjork said Sacramento is considered a great place to live, but there's a negative perception that local government talks and doesn't do much. That's why she and others in her group are asking the council to consider sending the matter to the voters in the next election.
