Highway 160 has re-opened this afternoon after a motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident earlier today.

CHP officers say a man was driving the wrong way on the highway in a pickup truck when he hit the motorcyclist and at least one other car.

Lanes at Royal Oaks Driver were shut down to traffic, which forced drivers to exit the highway.

Highway 160 re-opened about 2:45 p.m., officers said.

The 86-year-old truck driver was traveling in the fast lane toward incoming traffic.

The motorcyclist died at the scene, according to the CHP.
