At 1:15 this morning, Metro Fire crews were called to the 4200 block of Lusk Drive for a report of a fire in a residence.
Twenty-four firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the fire that started in the living quarters, and extended into the attic and garage.
Red Cross was called out to assist the six residents displaced from this home. Thankfully no firefighters or civilians were injured.
Arson Investigators are still determining the cause and origin of the fire. Metro Fire encourages you to test your smoke alarms every month, and change the batteries TODAY.
