Sacramento streets are becoming a rough ride and it's not getting any better. The city ranks 14th among cities with a half million with more streets in bad shape. Poor streets cost drivers more in wear and tear on their vehicles. Locally that adds up to an average of 658 dollars a year. Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, and San Diego lead the list. Antioch and Reno are ranked one and two with bad roads in cities less than half million with Stockton ranked thirteenth.

The report from TRIP, a national transportation research group, published their findings in the report "Bumpy Roads Ahead: America's Roughest Rides and Struggles to make our Roads Smoother." Read the report here.
