A lock down at Monticello Elementary School in Tracy was lifted this morning after police took a young boy into custody. 

Officers responded to a domestic dispute on the 8700 block of Shelbourne Drive and heard what sounded like gunshots. 

The boy ran from the home toward the school, which had already been placed on lock down. 

The boy was taken into custody at the scene and is undergoing a medical evaluation. 

The lockdown was lifted around 8:45 a.m. There are no reports of any injuries.
