Police in Texas say they have a man in custody who may be connected to the nationwide Target credit data breach during last year's holiday season.

Austin TV station KVUE reports 40-year-old Guo Xing Chen was arrested in December after using a stolen credit or debit card to purchase several gift cards at Target stores in the Austin area.

Chen also has an outstanding felony warrant for credit or debit card abuse from the state of Arkansas.

According to court documents, Target investigators believe Chen is part of the $70 million dollar data breach.

So far his connection to the breach, or whether others will be charged is not known.
